Booking Requirements & Policies
A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required at the time of booking, as we only take in a few pups at a time. The full balance will be due at the time of drop-off.
All boarding dogs have a 12PM check-out time the day of pick-up. Your pup is welcome to stay later for a $30 late pick-up/daycare fee. All visits, drop-off, and pick-up are to be conducted by appointment only.
We cannot accept pets without proof of Rabies, Bordetella, and DHPP vaccinations. Please submit vaccination records in advance or bring with you at the time of drop-off.
For safety reasons, we do NOT accept aggressive dogs under any circumstance. Your dog MUST get along well with other dogs AND people (male & female).
We want to provide the absolute best and comforting experience for your pup(s), and cannot accept dogs with severe separation anxiety.
We are a unique situation in which your dog is in a home environment. All dogs must be non-destructive, potty trained, and CANNOT jump fences.
We do require all females to be spayed.
Cancellation -
Please notify us as soon as possible with any cancelations. You will not be charged for the full stay, though the 50% deposit is nonrefundable since we may not be able to fill your slot. We do not offer refunds for early pick-up.
Discretion and Safety -
The owner of J. L. Hunt Ranch may elect to change the terms of these policies and operating procedures as needed, without warning if deemed necessary. If we receive your dog, and he/she does not meet our criteria, you will be liable to pick-up your dog immediately.
